As the "Princess of Publishing/Arch-duchess of Advertising/Marchioness of Marketing", I'm here on behalf of my fellow members of The Burping Troll collaborative writing group to promote our newest tale, Adamant. Title: Adamant Author: Sevilodorf, erinrua*, and Celebsul Rating: PG-13 Pairing: n/a (this is not a "pairing" sort of tale) Warning: only some mild violence Disclaimer: Middle Earth and everything in it belongs to Tolkien. We of The Burping Troll are merely playing in the professor's sandbox. Summary: The final part of the 'Precious Stones' trilogy, following 'Bloodstone' and 'Obsidian'**. Nik, the small uruk-hai befriended by Russbeorn, has sworn to do what no orc has done before: stand and testify to his innocence of murder after killing a man in defense of human life. But will Nik's truth overcome the lies of unscrupulous men? (Can be read as a stand-alone story.) Author's Notes: The above summary was written by erinrua. Beta: No beta, hehe... no one knew I could write some of this sort till now! :oP Summary: The War of the Ring is over, although Sauron managed to mess with people's lives one last time, so, one woman, whose life was destroyed due to Sauron's schemes, on her way to her death meets an elf on his way to his Final Yourney. One last thing: I didn't know how to describe my story, what category it would be and so, so I x-posted it everywhere I thought it would at least partially belong. 11:28 pm [_redpanda_]	The Kings of Gondor and the Mark are away south at war. In Ithilien an injured Faramir lies dying, dreaming of his long-lost brother. Elboron and Lothiriel must ride to join Eowyn at the Prince's bedside, leaving young Elfwine alone to rule Rohan in his father's stead with only Erkenbrand to aid him and Eldarion to annoy the hell out of him. And Hama's grandson is in some serious hot water... ( A small snippet ) What's all this? Let's just say that Chapter Nine of Heirs Of Arda is now online. PS: Please comment on the link provided! I know this is AU with the book timelines/family trees, this is MY version. I am so glad to find you -- I'm fascinated by what might have happened post-coronation and I love reading all these stories that keep Middle-earth alive! I wanted to share with you all a story I wrote. It's set in Year 1 of the Fourth Age and explores the relationship between Aragorn and Faramir. The Healer I really hope you like it! Heirs Of Arda by darkriverrr No, I didn't write it, but I do webmistress it. :) The opening page explains it all...but in short, it's the adventures of Eldarion, Elfwine, and Elboron, set against the backdrop of their respective famed parents' ongoing war against the South.
